About Peter Azende

I was awarded a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Human and Health Studies by the University of Huddersfield in 2018. I am a dedicated Lecturer with over 16 years of experience in higher education and 4 years of professional experience in the health and social care sector. I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting student success, and using research to influence positive change in society. I have developed and delivered engaging academic programmes, supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research, and contributed to curriculum enhancement and academic leadership. I also actively collaborate on interdisciplinary research initiatives and enjoy working with colleagues across disciplines to explore innovative approaches to teaching and research. My research interests include:* Human sexual and reproductive health * Mental health * Health promotion * Digital health * Health and social care management * Youth culture * Health inequalities I have published in reputable peer-reviewed journals and remain committed to research that addresses real-world challenges and advances knowledge in health and social care.
