About Peter Bak
Peter Bak (PhD) joined K Health R&D in March 2020 as a visual data scientists. His job is to create interactive visualization and data analysis methods for health scientists to support their quest for knowledge discovery. Previously he was with IBM Research since 2010. He was part of the Health Informatics department, interested in design and implementation of efficient interactive visualisation for health related data coming from medical records, devices, and sensors. Together with smart analytics and machine learning the visualisation can help domain experts, researcher, and data scientists to better understand their domain and develop better algorithms and deliver better insights. He is co-author of the Springer book on Visual Analytics of Movement, continuously publishing in scientific journals and conferences, and gives graduate courses in the field.
