About Peter Bakk

Thanks to my father, who is an electrical engineer, I was fortunate enough to own a monochrome notebook and a Commodore 64 before I even knew how to read. During my childhood, various marketing books were littered all over our house: courtesy of my mother, a Marketing and Economics teacher. Upon deciding to pursue a career as an online marketing expert, I was enrolled in Universität Bielefeld, Germany as part of the Erasmus program at the beginning of 2009. I gained experience in social media and soon became one of the first ever social media managers in Hungary. Early October 2010, when one of the most prestigious Hungarian universities, Corvinus University, started its very first Online Marketing course, I was summoned to give the opening presentation: an 80-minute lecture about business opportunities on Facebook and E-commerce. I have been working since the age of 16. Between 2006-2007, I had acquired marketable experience at a multinational company, Telenor. After years of freelancing and delivering online marketing solutions to Milka, Chio, Nike and L'Oréal, I was hired by Allianz. At Allianz I orchestrate all the social media campaigns, as well as the coaching of our sales force by flying them into the digital age. In numbers language, I have managed 25 lead generation campaigns for the brand and spent 50+ days training agents in over 200 hrs since May 2013. Outside of work I am a vivid chess player, a hungry bookworm (in 2015, I digested 36 novels equal to ca. 13 pages), a casual sports person and an urban farmer, growing spices on my balcony.
