About Peter Beck Kim

Since 1995, I've been a Family Medicine physician at Family Care Centers in Orange County, and its Medical Director since 2008. I also advise on EMR implementation, training, and modification, as well as the adoption of AI.I'm a long-time board member of Greater Newport Physicians/MemorialCare Independent Physicians IPA. Between 2011 and 2015, I chaired and vice-chaired the Family Medicine Department at Hoag Memorial Hospital, and I continue to participate in committees focused on practice innovation, the importance of value plus patient/provider satisfaction, and quality.In 2011, I developed simple strategies to improve my diabetic patients' ODC control to over 2 SDs above the organizational average, and my office mates' numbers to over 1.5 SDs. I aim to educate as many healthcare providers as possible on EMR and AI technologies.
