About Peter Billek

As a Technical Solution Managers for complex public safety projects, I take charge of technical solutions delivered to the customers and are thus the first technical contact for this solution, to both the customer as well as internal interfaces. Previously, working 7+ years as an Operation Product Manager for the VCX product, a marked leading communication device for country wide Air Traffic Management networks, I implemented the product strategy at the operational level by defining the product from a functional perspective, estimate and plan the product development costs and act as a communication hub towards internal and external customers as well as the development team and support units. Starting as a Development integration engineer at Frequentis, helped me to get a hands-on experience with all the Air Traffic Management products available within the organization. Working as a real-time software developer at Ericsson Enterprise, bevor joining Frequentis, lead to a deep understanding on software architecture, which I can apply in my everyday work, by defining and steering development actives in close cooperation with R&D Departments as well as outsourced development activities. My private life is dedicated to my family. I am married with a British background wife. We have one son, which we raise bilingual. Volunteer work was always a part of my life, which started right after my studies, where I boarded the international ship MV Doulos, OM Ships International, with the goal to share knowledge, help and hope among people of the world. Currently I am involved in a local free church.
