About Peter Bolt

I am a dedicated leader and senior consultant specializing in IT, infrastructure, digitalization, innovation, and change management – with extensive experience from both national and international projects across a variety of industries. Currently, I serve as a Digital Manager at AFRY, where I lead digital transformation initiatives within urban and community development. Previously, I held senior roles at Sweco as a team manager as well as digital strategist / CDO focusing on efficient digital services in the fields of water and environmental management. My professional journey also includes key roles at Dell-EMC, where I worked as a Nordic consulting manager and strategic advisor in IT, infrastructure, and cloud solutions for major Swedish and European clients. In the 1990s, I was a Management consultant at Cap Gemini, leading transformation projects for the largest industrial and public sector organizations. I have an industrial background from Sunds Defibrator (now Valmet), where I held leadership roles in plant design, marketing, and project support within the fiberboard and pulp divisions. My commitment to energy solutions and sustainability began in the 1980s during my early career as an energy consultant – a focus that continues to influence my work today. Today, I combine my experience and passion for change with the opportunities presented by digitalization – always with the aim of contributing to business value and a more sustainable society.
