About Peter Bonney

I am currently looking for a part-time remote software development role. I'm especially interested in contributing to an organisation that measures success by societal benefits rather than dollars. terms negotiable. I've been helping organisations deliver better software systems for three decades, including many years of developing browser and cloud based applications. I have expertise with all parts of the software development life cycle, using a wide variety of tools, languages and environments. Equally importantly, I have a demonstrated ability to learn new domains and collaborate with stakeholders, resulting in software that is useful and relevant. My career has included stints in San Francisco, London, and Auckland, including working remotely across multiple time zones in a variety of roles ranging from software engineering to cloud architecture. More recently (since 2019) I've refocused on software development - my true passion.
