About Peter Borgerding

My name is Peter Borgerding, and I recently moved to Colorado from Dallas, Texas. I completed my Associate of Arts degree in December of 2019. My courses included a focus in the Hospitality, Exhibition, and Event Management program. My interest in this field began when I became a manager at the original location of Studio Movie Grill. My responsibilities included coordinating the catering, audio/visual devices, and customer service for a variety of special events. I was also responsible for using Microsoft Word, Excel, and several Point of Sale Systems to manage invoices and contracts for clients. During my time there I developed a real sense of what it is like to interact face to face with clients and provide an exceptional guest experience for everyone involved. I have also honed my customer service skills working for several country clubs, as a bartender at Wolfgang Puck Catering, and as a banquet house person at Doubletree Hilton. I am currently aiming to expand my horizons and potentially use my experience to transition out of the hospitality industry.
