About Peter Bradford

I have a passion for information technology, starting as a kid messing around with electronics and computer technology, I naturally saw my career being in Engineering. I completed my Degree in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Nottingham. During that time I excelled in the computing aspects. So I decided to move further into the IT industry. Working at Sanofi since my promotional path moved from supporting users directly at the helpdesk to currently managing Service Desks for multiple countries in plus users in over 7 countries and languages) Being responsible for all aspects of Infrastructure across the region makes for an interesting and challenging role. Not only am I responsible for and provide support, my role also includes managing the deployment of infrastructure services in the region. This includes; • Windows migrations, fleet hardware upgrades • Training and Communications • Process improvements • Change management • Deployments of new technologies such as Skype, SharePoint, Airwatch, Zoom, Direct Access, Steelhead mobile networking But never wanting to rest, I am looking to further increase my experience into cloud technologies and start to specialise in this area. Having initially a hobby interest in Linux I am developing my skill set even further to move more into this field be it Google, AWS or Azure. I see the future of user computing being less client side dependent and more services in the cloud. Regardless of what the customer is using be it Windows, Apple, Chrome, iOS, Android and embedded operating systems.
