About Peter Brand

As a Specialist Application Engineer at Leap Australia, I apply my extensive knowledge and skills in CAE, FEA, CFD, and simulations to provide engineering consulting, presales, direct sales, and training for various market-leading software products, such as ANSYS, ROCKY DEM, Flownex, and Moldex. I also manage the South Australia region and deliver guest lectures at universities, covering topics such as computer-aided mechanical design. With almost 30 years of experience in the CAE industry, I have worked as a software developer, an application engineer, a senior analyst, and a technical director for leading companies such as MSC.Software and Compumod in Europe and Australia. I have a strong background in mathematics and finite element method, with multiple degrees from prestigious universities in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Australia. I am also fluent in six languages: Dutch, English, Italian, Spanish, French, and German. I am passionate about solving complex engineering problems, sharing my expertise, and learning new technologies.
