About Peter Brassard

I’m an advocate for mass transit, architecture and urban design, and planning who works to improve public transportation options in cities to benefit, and support its citizens and communities. My focus is on making mass transit accessible, reliable and able to move people expeditiously through urban areas. How effortlessly people move through urban environments directly impacts their connectivity to people, opportunities and experiences. I do this by collaborating cross-functionally with business executives, community leaders, government officials and agencies. My strength is my ability to work with people resistant to new ideas. It’s never easy to challenge conventional thinking. First I listen to learn their point of view. If you don’t understand where someone stands, then you can’t overcome their objections. Then I address how my idea will solve their problem, address challenges and achieve their objective. I’m able to take a complex concept and break it down to be easily understood. My goal is to find an organization who needs a forward-thinking, persuasive communicator who will advocate on their behalf to effect change.
