About Peter Brewer
My mission is to enable small and medium airlines to maximise profitability by using revenue management (RM) software. A team player in spirit, I enjoy working with airline professionals to implement cloud-based RM systems that result in making more revenue from every flight, while assisting passengers in getting the availability and flights they need. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Maxamation, I lead an international team of visionaries and industry experts in the product development of world-class revenue management software for airlines, enabling them to make more revenue from every flight. By leveraging Aviator, our intuitive revenue management system with a proven track record of success, our airline partners are regularly unlocking between 4% to 20% in revenue gains. Since when we contracted our first clients, we have cultivated and grown our portfolio to over 60 airlines, supporting customers in Asia (Japan, China, India), South Africa, Europe (France), and North America (Canada). With over two decades of leadership experience in revenue management programs, combined with deep industry knowledge gained in broadcast television and aviation, I have the capability to lead high-performing teams using well-proven concepts in revenue management to benefit my clients. Prior to my role at Maxamation, I was the Director of Broadcast Revenue, which specialised in working with all major TV networks in our region (Australia and New Zealand), providing revenue management software and expertise. I had previously had airline experience working airline revenue management at Qantas and managed the introduction of RM into the Seven Network, one of Australia’s largest free-to-air TV broadcasters. Airlines that are not using revenue management software, or are using it poorly, are leaving money on the table. Some of the challenges of adoption have to do with fears that systems will not be user-friendly, or well-supported. There is also a lack of understanding about the significant amount of revenue that can be captured and utilised to make decisions that have a positive impact on an airlines’ profitability.
