Covering site acceptance/installation, troubleshooting, external interference hunting as well as network/cluster optimization and benchmarking. Technologies experienced GSM, TETRA, UMTS, LTE and 5G NR. Measuring Networks in Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. Site acceptance & Troubleshooting In this chapter working on cable tests, VSWR, Distance to Fault, Time Alignment Error, Electromagnetic Field strength EMF and other site related tests: SINR, RSRP, Ec/Io…. Familiar with active antennas AAS as well as non-active Non-ASS systems. Optimization Familiar with expert optimization tools for network engineering and post processing. Using UE trace data as well as scanner results to find faults, analyze dropped calls and other events. Interference Hunting Over 6 years’ experience in external interference hunting, using various tools and technologies. Manual homing with spectrum analyzer and directional antennas as well as automated solution with real time receiver and direction-finding antennas. Using bandpass filters as well as pre-amplifier to enhance the efficiency locating interfering sources.
