About Peter Cairns

My job as a Pre Press Operator is to work with supplied graphic files. Creating lithographic plate files that go on to Complex machinery. Then produce them for the manufacturing process. The job can vary from day to day. Accuracy is very important. It is useful to to take a systemmatic approach to work that will eventually go into a manufacturing environment. I have excellent time management. As we need to make changes at a moments notice. I have access to the Citrix Planning Board. Which i have a responsibility to update. Then inform managers if there is any missing information or mistakes that would cause a manufacturing error. My goals are to advance myself, set myself challenges that will take me out my comfort zone. Specialties: I have the ability to break down a problem very quickly & organise a practical soloution. I have an excellent attention to detail. I am very accurate at what i send out to print machines and outside suppliers regarding artwork. Often i have spotted mistakes before they are sent out to the machine.
