About Peter Campbell

Family man, coach, teacher. I have always enjoyed the challenges associated with guiding, coaching and teaching people to reach their true potential, be that in the class room or on the rowing course. The skills, experience and knowledge I've acquired during my 18 teaching career and 22 years in rowing have taught me the importance of commitment, hard work, and an endless pursuit of achieving excellence, as well as the continuing thirst for learning. I have worked with and learned from some of the best teachers and rowing coaches in the profession and I have always challenged myself to better myself. I have enjoyed travelling throughout the UK, New Zealand and Australia consolidating my deep understanding of rowing. Pivoting from my position as a senior coxswain of 13 years to that of a professional rowing coach has been an obvious transition. I am passionate about raising the standards of performance in the programs I manage and the teams I lead. My current role at Genazzano presents the opportunity to deliver a State and Nationally competitive program for our enthusiastic and hard working students.
