I have been working in the Education sector for 35 years initially in Primary schools but for the last 25 as a Secondary School Teacher and Careers Advisor. I am currently the Careers and Library Hub Manager at Onslow College. I manage a team of five professionals who support the well being of our Akonga with the aim to develop meaningful future pathway plans. We foster a 1 size fits 1 approach in which every young person that crosses our path is treated as an individual and our planning for them reflects this. My strengths are my communication with my Team and our stakeholders. I pride myself on positivity and a can do attitude. I am proud of our Careers Department's development throughout my time in this role. Especially in Pathway Planning for youth, The development of out STAR (Secondary Tertiary Alignment Resource) programmes, Gateway Work Experience Programmes and Trades Academy.
