About Peter Clark

I have been working in Systems development since the mid 1990's and spent 15 years of the time developing, implementing, project managing and supporting business applications in the MOD. With numerous projects ranging from a full procurement system for the Defence Procurement Agency, the implementation of the Anite Housing Management System for Defence Housing, and the full corporate MIS for the Defence Estates organisation, to numerous business specific applications, many of which were delivered from the concept stage right through to in service. Since leaving the MoD in 2005 I set up my own small consultancy and immediately picked up a contract with the London Borough of Redbridge initially to come in and provide technical consultancy to the implementation project for a replacement Housing Management system. I successfully completed the delivery into service Northgate OHMS in 2006. I have continued to develop KPI, reporting, interfaces and business process improvements. In 2012 I Project Managed the digitisation of all the Redbridge housing paper files into the Northgate I@W EDMS. In excess of 20 Million images migrated. This project also included the re-engineering of office procedures. In 2015-2016 I was contracted with Network Homes providing technical Business Analysis skills to implement the Service Charges Module of the Northgate NPS System. On completion I returned to LBR to pick up the development of systems to support the councils housing service and implement changes as part of the councils digital transformation programme, this has included providing SME on the delivery of online services for tenants & leaseholders including access to account transaction histories, making payment arrangements, maintaining household details and viewing & downloading correspondence. I have lead on the introduction of MS Power BI to deliver KPI and business intelligence. In 2019 I stepped away from contracting to take on an Associate Director role at IHS Markit focusing on delivering key business insights on the operation of the business for the senior leadership teams.
