About Peter Collini

My current roles are as adviser, non-executive director, mentor and school governor. The majority of my executive career was spent leading corporate restructurings and debt financings for over 100 companies often with significant media attention. Roles were throughout UK, Europe, North/South America and South East Asia with combined value in excess of £20bn. They gave me an appreciation of differing perspectives, that motivations are not always financial and the need to challenge perceived wisdom. Helping business leaders and Boards take important decisions in difficult circumstances and giving them the confidence to do the right thing has made my career very rewarding. I enjoy building consensus amongst stakeholders and creating equitable ownership structures often with a heavy debt component, whether it is bi-lateral or 100+ stakeholders spread across the globe. I ran my own independent advisory business for 20 years with a small highly motivated team advising on financial restructurings and debt financings. An Investment banking trained accountant I focus on the big picture with attention to the little things - bringing my core beliefs of fairness, integrity and good humour. I am passionately entrepreneurial, focussed on results. I enjoy time with my family, all forms of cycling, skiing, stone sculpting, cooking and supplying the occasional cake to the award winning Sevenoaks Bookshop.
