About Peter Curran

Partner and Co-head of the Projects, Infrastructure and Energy Group at Beauchamps LLP. 25 years experience as a commercial lawyer, working in-house as Legal Counsel to Vodafone, and later in private practice with Arthur Cox and Eversheds Sutherland. I advise public and private sector clients in Ireland on the procurement, contractual and regulatory law aspects of projects in a range of sectors, including waste, health, social housing, energy, transport, technology and communications. I act for Government Departments, local government, public bodies and a wide range of private entities tendering for public contracts. In recent years, I have advised on some of the most significant projects to be procured on the island of Ireland. I also have a leading practice advising clients on procurement litigation in Ireland. I have been recognized for my work by all independent legal directories, including Chambers Europe, Chambers UK, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal (Government Contracts). I was one of 11 lawyers in EMEA ranked as a Global Elite Thought Leader by Who’s Who Legal 2019. I have presented on procurement law topics at seminars and conferences throughout Ireland, UK, Europe and the Caribbean. I am the Ireland correspondent and a member of the Editorial Board of the Public Procurement Law Review.
