About Peter Dahlen

With more than a decade of experience as the Managing Director of AmCham Sweden - the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, I lead the organization's mission to foster and promote bilateral trade and investment between Sweden and the United States. I have a strong background in law, policy, and government relations, with a J.D. from The Catholic University of America and an LL.M. from Stockholm University. My core competencies include cultivating high-level business relationships with member companies and policymakers and providing advocacy, networking, and knowledge-sharing platforms. I manage a wide range of activities supporting the organization's goals and objectives, such as budget, team, office resources, membership programs, membership relations and recruitment, policy initiatives, public outreach, and media relations. I also serve as the primary representative for the organization and develop business plans for the Board of Directors. Additionally, I am an Executive Committee Member of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce, representing the interests of more than American and European companies. I am also a regular lecturer at the Stockholm University Law Faculty on the U.S. legislative process. I am passionate about driving Swedish-American business relations with my legal and policy skills.
