About Peter Daish

Postgraduate student at Swansea University, on an ESRC funded 1+3 PhD studentship focussing on researching methods to eliminate bias from socio-technical decision support systems. Throughout my undergraduate degree course I have gained experience working with: Java, MySQL, PHP, XML, HTML along with key version control systems such as Git. Externally, I have experience with the C++(Qt UI framework), C# and Python programming languages - including experience working with the Keras library for Machine-Learning applications. My experience with C++ and C# is largely connected with developing videogames in the Unity and Unreal Engine game development environments under the alias “DaishGames”. Since graduated with a BSc in Software Engineering, I'm well versed in software development methodologies such as Scrum, V-Model and the Waterfall model. In addition to the above, I have taken an interest in Web 3.0 smart contract security and actively take part in Solidity smart contract auditing contests.
