Background

About Peter Delley

As the Head of Netball, I’m passionate about building a program that develops not only skilled netball players but also confident and capable umpires. I believe a strong netball culture is built on respect, understanding, and leadership—on and off the court—and I’m committed to creating opportunities for students to grow in all aspects of the game.My goal is to create a program where every student is supported to become the best version of themselves—whether they’re striving for elite performance or simply aiming to improve, contribute, and enjoy the game. I want every player and umpire to feel valued, and inspired to grow.Alongside this role, I continue to teach Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and junior Mathematics. I find great joy in helping students see the beauty in the language of mathematics and how it shapes the world around them. I also coordinate our school’s Mathematical Society, fostering a love of problem-solving and competition through various events and activities. With experience coaching across rugby league, strength and conditioning, athletics, and netball, I bring a broad sporting background to my current focus in netball. I believe success stems from both physical preparation and mental resilience, and I’m committed to helping students grow as both athletes and individuals.Ultimately, I strive to create environments—academic and athletic—where students are challenged, supported, and prepared to thrive.
