As a Manager of Software Engineering at RapidSOS, I lead a talented team focused on developing innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance public safety through data-driven emergency response. My key responsibilities include serving as a people leader, driving the product-usage monitoring initiative and acting as the Product Owner for a key product area. My background is rooted in leading engineering teams to build impactful, regulated software products. At MindMed, I was the Director of Product Engineering, where I led a distributed team working on AI-based biotech and healthcare software, specifically in the area of psychedelic-inspired medicines. A key part of my work was to support interactions with regulatory agencies and clinical studies, focusing on the development and submission of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). I am passionate about creating solutions that have a real-world impact, from developing cutting-edge healthcare software to providing first responders with critical, life-saving information. I leverage my expertise in AI and my leadership experience to drive technological innovation that makes a tangible difference.
