About Peter Enyart

Peter Enyart, CPA, is a finance consultant, responsible for coordinating the financial activities for a portfolio of captive insurance clients. He works closely with the captive Insurance Managers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, income tax compliance and other strategic captive finance initiatives. Additionally, he acts as a financial liaison, assisting captive members on unique matters involving their captive ownership. For over 15 years, Peter has been providing financial advice to the middle-market. He embodies a “roll up the sleeves” approach in his professional career and he takes great pride in being able to communicate complex issues to a wide audience. He started his career with RSM McGladrey (currently RSM US) where he practiced corporate and business income tax. After earning his Masters in Tax (Depaul University), he went to Washington DC and completed the firm's National Tax manager program, which focused on technical tax matters. He joined the RSM M&A Academy, and then became an active tax advisor in the middle-market, advising on mergers & acquisitions, tax structuring and other consultative tax matters. In 2016, he transitioned to the private sector by joining Raise Marketplace (raise.com) as the Corporate Controller. As Raise's Controller, he led the accounting department and advised leadership with all things accounting, treasury & banking, tax and m&a.
