Yes, you're right! My profile is that of a typical flexible generalist. What often comes to people's minds is the following: Hmm, I can't put a clear label on this one. That is absolutely correct. I'm not a label-thinker and don't like to be labeled. Because I am that free/thinking, and open to change, I often achieve surprising results and bring people together who might otherwise never have found each other. I have very good communication skills and by really listening I often quickly get to the real matter. Due to my open, connecting / bridging non-hierarchical attitude, I as a networker, gain respect from the shop floor to the boardroom and I am therefore able to activate and direct as well as invent and delegate. All this on both a strategic and tactical level. Being an initiator overseeing processes with guts and with that automatically open to change, often a first reaction is resistance, being able to make use of my interpersonal skills I can bend this quickly to an adaptive attitude of the stakeholder without him/her even realizing this. Being a generalist almost automatically means liking to work in a project management role, identifying gaps and advise about the needed improvements. Change management is the key factor of getting the wished change interpretated. Being an enthusiastic and inspiring motivator helps to get the team onboarded quickly. To convince the relevant stakeholders I'm always able to make use of the needed organizational sensitivity. Although from the other site I also dare to play the role of the devils advocate by bringing the opposite opinion compared to the group. This can really help to bring insights in each other's motivation of opinions Looking through my recommendations, you will see that this is also seen by colleagues in this way. This has contributed in various ways to the qualitative improvement of teams and processes.
