About Peter Farrell

I am an Director, and a chartered engineer with 26 years in the building services industry. Since 2010, I have worked with Ethos, driving our business to become a world class leader in mechanical, electrical, and sustainable design solutions. I am a committed and passionate leader and I aim to create an environment where our team both flourishes and delivers excellence in every project. I am a highly experienced Electrical Design Engineer and my priority is to deliver world class efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective MEP services systems that enhance every building and project we are involved in. I work closely with ambitious clients in the commercial, residential, and educational sectors. They know me as a diligent, expert and committed electrical engineer and leader who continuously provides ‘best in class’ expertise in the design and delivery of their unique MEP projects. My key goal is to inspire the optimum MEP project solutions. I am passionate about driving innovation and embracing new and improved technologies which deliver better ways of working and significant benefit to our clients. I am committed to collaborative working as I know that the best project outcomes are achieved from all project representatives coming together to achieve a shared goal. My proudest achievement in my career as a chartered engineer is my role in coaching and developing fellow engineers to realise their full potential. My current role as Associate Director in Ethos allows me to bring the most talented people together to devise the most creative and smart ways of designing and implementing projects for the benefit of our clients. I enjoy continual learning and developing; from my honours degree in Electrical Engineering, to my Diploma in Project Management to the many CPD courses I enthusiastically attend. The more I learn, the more I realise there is so much more that I want to learn. I am a highly committed team player – from my twice weekly football training to the team I work with every day in Ethos. Great team players are there no matter what. Everyone knows their position and the role they need to play to the benefit of the team. We support one another when times get hard, we always back our clients and we always celebrate when we win.
