About Peter Feige

Peter believes in living a simple life but yet likes challenges. Since early childhood he has been an advocate for protecting the environment and promoting compassion for others and nature. Curiosity and liking challenges gained Peter a portfolio of quite a variety of experiences in the career world as well as in private. After a one year road trip through North America, Peter migrated unexpectedly from Nuremberg - Germany to Toronto - Canada. The last 12+ years he has been in Halifax and mainly involved in marine science as well as environmental education at Dalhousie. Most of that time in in the capacity of project manager and programmer, including web-programming. For the last couple years, recognizing the urgent need for promoting and supporting the Canadian sustainable housing market, he is developing Efficiency Properties. The core idea behind Effprop is to help reduce Greenhouse gas emissions in Canada by making the fast growing sustainable housing market more accessible to buyers and sellers. EffProp will furthermore be a place to find relevant information and educational material about real estate and sustainability. We are also passionate about delivering this service through top quality multimedia tools with the EffProp website at it’s core. We want to make sure that we give access to the sustainable housing market with comfort and ease.
