As the General Manager of Technical Tooling and Strategy at Air Canada, I lead tooling operations across our national maintenance network, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation remain at the core of our strategy. I’m a licensed AME (M2) with type endorsements on Dash 8 (100/200/300/400), CRJ (100/200/440/700/900), Fokker F28, and Airbus A310 — combining technical depth with strategic leadership. With decades of hands-on experience from the hangar floor to senior management, I bring a deep understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, tooling lifecycles, AOG response, and regulatory compliance (Transport Canada, FAA, EASA). I specialize in reducing downtime through optimized tooling strategy, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, strengthening vendor relationships, and aligning with OEMs for tool repair, procurement, and lifecycle planning. My team and I drive continuous improvement by leveraging digital tools, data, and Lean methodologies. I’m passionate about building collaborative teams, modernizing maintenance processes, and creating sustainable strategies that align with operational goals.
