I am an experienced, well rounded, and common sense consultant focused on helping clients (large and small) in diverse industries improve performance. These powerful tools help organizations overcome business challenges and improve their operating and financial performance e.g. increase productivity, reduce cost, eliminate bottlenecks, enhance processes. Examples of industries that can see significant benefits include fast food, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation/logistics, finance/insurance, and others. I also provide support to investors, including due diligence, value creation, turnaround support, and portfolio monitoring in a wide range of industries: consumer, financial, technology, business services, industrial, healthcare, energy/natural resources, transportation/logistics, and others. While I work in diverse areas, I have three areas of specialty based on my project experience: energy, transportation and natural resources. My energy experience includes coal, oil and gas, utilities, and renewables. My transportation experience includes rail, intermodal, trucking, barge, and ports. My natural resources experience includes multiple commodities, such as coal, potash and iron ore, across multiple geographies. I was co-chair of a mining conference, The Industry Summit on Mining Performance, with six conferences over the past decade.
