About Peter Gallagher

Having relinquished his role as Director Head of the Manchester Office in 2020, Peter has returned to a wholly client-facing role working as a consultant within the National Offices Team of Colliers. Based in Manchester, he works on a broad range of strategic development agency projects, covering all types of mixed-use commercial property but retaining a specialism in high-value Grade A offices. Peter has built a highly respected reputation advising on the complexities of pre-build development consultancy and pre-let agency, acting for both occupiers and owners. His personal clients include prominent private as well as public sector bodies. Amongst dozens of individual office redevelopment schemes in both the city centre and suburban business parks in both north and south Manchester, career highlights include: • Identifying, assembling and acting a three-party pre-let tenant consortium who took pre-lets on a combined sq.ft. of new offices at Barbirolli Square, in so doing triggering the wider development of the Concert Hall development and wider Southern Gateway to the city. • Twelve years of development consultancy and target marketing agency appointment for Allied London at the Spinningfields development resulting in over 1M sq.ft. of pre-let transactions to a range of high value corporate tenants that triggered the start on site of a 2.5m sq. ft. mixed use but office-centred scheme that transformed the shape of Manchester city centre by creating a new financial district. • Several years working as part of the agency team at the NOMA development, a 20 acre neighbourhood in Manchester city centre creating 4m sq.ft. of new homes, offices, hotels, retail & leisure space developed around vibrant urban space and public realm.
