About Peter Gardiakos

I was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in September 2021 and have been working in the Legal Team at Workskil Australia, a not-for-profit employment and community services provider contracted by the Australian Government since July 2021. Working in an in-house environment since admission has given me the unique opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in numerous areas of legal practice, such as contract, employment and industrial relations, commercial leasing and property, privacy, and even intellectual property law. I thoroughly enjoy the breadth of work offered by an in-house role and ideally would like to remain in an in-house environment. Being contracted by the Australian Government, the employment services industry is naturally also highly regulated and this has given me the opportunity to develop experience and expertise in compliance and policy areas as well. Outside of work, I play soccer for the Westminster Old Scholars Soccer Club and like to unwind by playing video games, watching classic cinema, or working on my health and fitness goals.
