Senior product engineer at Innovation Zed. I completed my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at UCD in 2024. My thesis project was titled 'Bioabsorbable Implants from Metallic Glass Composites' and focused on the production and study of Mg-based bulk metallic glasses for biomedical applications. It was supervised by Prof. David Browne with the UCD Phase Transformation Research Group. I enjoy problem-solving in all forms, and have developed my capabilities for this through my experience in leadership roles in several projects, internships, and student competitions. I have a passion for entrepreneurship and have demonstrated talent in this field. I am constantly looking for opportunities to apply the skills I have developed in education at UCD and UIUC, in industry as an intern at Logitech and Innovation Zed, and through personal endeavours such as my role as Business Captain with UCD Formula Student and through winning the NovaUCD Student Enterprise Competition. I am a certified Solidworks Mechanical Design Associate with extensive experience using a range of CAD software packages, and have programming experience in Python, MATLAB, R, and both C&C++ programming.
