About Peter Gauvin

I worked at American Brands(Precix), Inc. from 1988 to 2002, starting as a Process Finisher and becoming a Mold Repairman by the mid 1990s. I returned to school in 2002 for professional advancement and training in computer processes at the Computer Training Specialists School in Fall River, Massachusetts. After finishing my computer training program, I worked at Rigging Only, a yacht rigging hardware provider, as a manufacturer from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, I returned to Acushnet Rubber inc.(Precix), Inc. as a Third Class Machinist, a position I hold to the current day. Througout most of my professional career, I have been involved in the Boy Scouts of America. I initially joined in 1997 as a Committee Member, a position that allowed me to facilitate the education and training of the Scouts in my local troop. I became the Assistant Scout Master for Troop 51 in 2007, and later was the Scout Master for the Troop from 2016-2018. In more recent years, I have returned to my position as a Committee Member, as it allows me to spend more time with my family.
