About Peter Gec

My first contact with world of cards was in 2001, when I participated on the first steps of Diners Club International in Slovak republic. I passed thru all executive roles with the last position on Business and Marketing director. In 2005 Dell open the central of competence in Slovakia. The main area of influence was focus on marketing, specifically on pricing of product and services within EMEA region. Next two years I was focused on pricing of the Enterprise solutions for the SME and corporate market. After first experience with the American way of corporate life I move back closer to payments. First Data, the global leader on payment industry, created team for the international business development. I was part of story within next two years as a client solution manager. The last and still actual role is ePayment expert in consulting business where I can utilize all experiences from my previous jobs. INFINITY Consulting was established in 2008 and by this time we participated on more than 30 projects with coverage of Central and Eastern Europe. The main areas of interest are consolidation of payment systems (POS terminals, ATM, cards and mobile payments), certification of payment institutions and fintech support. Our role typically starting with solution design, continue with business specification and finish with participation on RFI / RFP in cooperation with clients procurement. Since 2016 is INFINITY Consulting member of Slovak bank card association (ZBK) where Im the member of executive committee. The main agenda of this organization is development of cashless society with accent on increasing of ePayment industry.
