About Peter George

I help clients in multiple sectors create brands that resonate, penetrate and inspire change in the their organization and their customer base. I’ve been at the helm of McKim Communications Group since 2006. McKim was the first agency in Canada, founded in Montreal in 1889. There’s been an operating office in Winnipeg since 1911. Times have changed no doubt but the legacy of creative leadership and powering change with big ideas has been at the core of this business since the start. In July of 2020, McKim launched a subsidiary division that took advantage of our many years of creating success in higher education. ED. Marketing has since been a key focus as we fulfill our mission to help colleges and universities find right-fit learners, faculty, researchers and donors. In 2021, McKim merged with digital agency Sherpa Marketing, bringing the power of big ideas into the digital realm to make them even more effective. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some of the most important brands in the region — from tourism to higher education, from broadcasting to waste reduction and recycling. Now, I'm excited to bring my experience in marketing, branding and leadership to my role as CEO of the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.
