About Peter Ghawi

I believe in hard work, commitment as key factors for success. Also, I am eager to learn from other people experiences. I got the chance to learn about different business in the world from Retails to Construction, services and finally Oil & Gas companies by doing the required financial reporting and variances analysis on the cost lines, revenues forecast, financial planning and Internal controls. I started my career with Moore Stephens Tabbal "Accounting and Audit Firm in Beirut - Lebanon"​ where I practiced the main accounting, taxation and audit skills with different type of companies including NGOs. From there, I went further in my career and took my first assignment outside Lebanon where I moved to Qatar as the head of finance department for CMC Qatar "Construction Material company"​. It has been my goal to further my knowledge and ambition through working at a leading company. Seeking something new to develop my career is important part of my characters, and this is why I Joined Schlumberger in Apr.11 as management accountant to be promoted after to financial analysis in Jul'13, to Project Controller in Jul'15, to Operations Controller in Oct'16, to Northern Middle East Drilling Group Operations Controller in Jun'17 and to ASIA Basin Operations Controller for Digital and Integration division in Jun'20.
