Background

About Peter Gladstone

I am an experienced construction project manager who prioritises building collaborative teams with the right expertise to deliver successful projects. Whilst the project team can get on with delivery I can prioritise planning future stages and activities, coordinate between parts of the project team and stakeholders, monitoring and tracking against the plan. Building good teams and creating an environment where everyone can play their role with their skills creates a good working environment for delivering successful outcomes for clients. I currently act as Lead Technical Advisor to the Department for Education through Gleeds' appointment under the department's framework. I manage a team of technical advisors who support the DfE through all stages of all types of school building projects. Previously, I worked for a local authority as project manager delivering all kinds of building projects through all stages of construction. Before that, at WSP I was an engineer and assistant project manager primarily for Highways England Major Projects.
