About Peter Glass

I have spent 36 years in the Healthcare industry. The first 30 years were in academia having published over 400 publications, presented over 250 invited lectures both nationally and internationally and receiving over $7.5 million in sponsored research. In addition, I provided consulting services for many Pharma companies including, Glaxo, Burroughs Wellcome, Schering Plough, Organon, Brystol Myers Squibb, Ethicon and Johnson and Johnson. After 15 years at Duke I was offered the Chair of Anesthesia at SUNY Stonybrook. In the 14 years as Chair I more than doubled the size of the department and increased revenue from approximately $12 million to over $30 million with over 200 staff. For 6 years I also served as the Chair of the Clinical Practice Management Plan which oversaw the clinical enterprise of the Medical Center with over 300 physicians and >$300 million in revenue. In this position I also worked with the Dean and CEO of the hospital to develop and implement the strategic plan for Stony Brook Medical Center. In 2013 I left Stonybrook to join with my son Sean Glass to found Advantia Health. Together we evolved the vision for a unique Women’s Health Delivery Network. In 6 years we have grown the company to over 180 providers, practicing out of 50 locations in 4 states with over $100 million in top-line revenue for 2018 and an expected run rate of >$150 million in 2020. I am now opening my own Healthcare consulting company and look forward to working with clients in Private equity, Pharma and Healthcare systems
