About Peter Goodman

During my three-decade career in the aircraft leasing and airline industries, I have held various executive roles in marketing, sales, and technical operations with such globally recognized aircraft leasing companies. Today, I am working with CDB Aviation. In the past, I have worked with BOC Aviation/SALE, ORIX, Pembroke, GECAS, and Guinness Peat Aviation. I have also been engaged in managing large and multilocation marketing/sales and technical teams. The aircraft leasing market is among one of the most recognized sectors across the globe. Over the past decade, this industry has accelerated its growth significantly, particularly in the European, Middle-Eastern, and African markets. With the industry land-scape shifting constantly, I believe building extensive relationships at senior levels with the world’s leading airlines and OEMs, as well as razor-focus on closing deals and execution, are key to rapidly adapting to changing market conditions and leading high-achieving teams focused on results and long-term leadership in the industry. Today, I am Head of Commercial, Europe, Middle-East, and Africa, of Dublin-headquartered CDB Aviation. As a subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co, Limited, our company is the only leasing arm of China Development Bank and a leading aircraft lessor in China’s aviation finance sector. Together with our global team, we have propelled our organization to become the first Chinese domestic lessor to truly ‘go global,’ delivering a full suite of operating lessor products to airline customers worldwide. Prior to CDB Aviation, I was BOC Aviation’s Executive Vice President and Head of Airline Leasing and Sales, leading the establishment of the lessor’s Dublin office in support of the Americas, Europe, and Africa markets. I also served on the board of BOC Aviation (Ireland). I started my career in aviation with Aer Lingus.
