About Peter Gossmann

Mr. Peter Gossmann is an experienced manufacturing executive for over 35 years in the plastic injection molding business. Mr. Gossmann, as sole owner opened a small 15-person mold manufacturing company in 1986 that he subsequently sold to Canadian buttons in 1992. He joined Accurate Mould Co. Ltd. in Rexdale, as sales manager in 1992 and by 1996 became an investor and General Manager during the acquisition of Accurate Mould by Wentworth Technologies Limited. From 1992 to Mr. Gossmann with full P and L responsibility took Accurate Mold from annual sales of $3 million to $24 million at the same time heading the Wentworth Technologies injection mold making group as Senior VP with total sales of $50 million. In 2003 Mr. Gossmann sold his interest in Wentworth Technologies and made a small investment loan to Plasticap in Richmond Hill. From 2004 to 2006 Mr. Gossmann was head of Husky Injection Molding System ISB and Thixomoulding divisions respectively. Mr. Gossmann left Husky in 2006 to participate in the acquisition of Plasticap which was completed in December of 2006. As Vice President and General Manager from 2007 to 2023, Mr. Gossmann reorganized Plasticap, increasing annual revenue by 100% over 6 years. Plasticap became profitable in the manufacturing of caps and closures for the food, personal care, and pharmaceutical products in the plastic packaging industry. By 2016 due to the escalation in Ontario Hydro rates and reduced profitability as a result, the decision was made to move operations to Lebanon Virginia by March of 2019. Mr. Gossmann continued in the role of VP GM as operations began in August of 2019. The start up and training took up most of 2019 into early 2020 when, in March of 2020 the SARS COV2 pandemic began. Through 2020 and 2021 sales revenue increased to break even levels however because of Covid related employment issues, increase in transportation costs, supply chain issues and the high cost of financing, revenues dropped off in 2022 and 2023 well below sustainable levels. Operations closed in August of 2023. Mr. Gossmann joined Cavalier Tool and Manufacturing Ltd. in February 2024 under contract as Sales Manager till June of 2025. Mr. Gossmann joined SyBridge Technologies under contract as Sales Account Manager in July of 2025.
