About Peter Grabe

Peter Gräbe’s interest in the power of God comes from his doctoral dissertation, “The Power of God in Paul’s Letters” (Tübingen, Germany: Mohr Siebeck, second edition 2008). Post-doctoral he was fascinated by the New Covenant and published the result of his research first in German, “Der neue Bund in der frühchristlichen Literatur” (Würzburg, Germany: Echter Verlag) and then in English, “New Covenant, New Community: The Significance of Biblical and Patristic Covenant Theology for Contemporary Understanding” (Milton Keyes, UK: Paternoster, 2005). Peter enjoys teaching and considers his students his friends. His blog, “Learning from Jesus,” takes its cue from the two on the road to Emmaus, who exclaimed: “Were not our hearts burning within us,(Lk 24:32)” after Jesus had explained the Scriptures to them. Come and participate in the discussion as we prayerfully and joyfully listen to the Words of our Master! You can find Peter’s blog at petergrabe.com.
