About Peter Graham

Peter has been with the University of Manitoba, in various capacities, since1983. He is an experimental Computer Scientist with research interests in the design and assessment of parallel, distributed and networked computing systems. He is NSERC funded and has also received research support from IBM, Sun Microsystems, TRLabs and the University of Manitoba. Peter has taught extensively at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Computer Science and actively supervises several MSc and PhD students. Peter has also served as chair of graduate studies in the Computer Science Departments, as a committee member and chair of an NSERC grant selection committee, as a committee member and chair for the Alberta Ingenuity ICT Scholarship selection committee, as a committee member for ACENET Fellowships selection and, locally, as a member of the committees adjudicating the University Research Grants program, University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships and NSERC PGS awards. Additionally, he serves his research community on numerous program committees, is a past board member of C3.ca and is an active participant in planning the WestGrid-2 High Performance Computing consortium, serving on multiple committees.
