About Peter Grendel

With over 30 years of experience in the IT sector, I am dedicated to delivering top-tier digital solutions to our customers. With the foundation of abat+ GmbH in 2009 we have made it our mission to provide our customers with digital high availability solutions in the complex manufacturing industry for production control, production planning and quality management. Additionally, we are experts in the transformation of legacy systems. In my role as Chief Executive Officer, I oversee the strategic direction, management, and performance of abat+ GmbH. Outside of my professional endeavors, I am a big soccer fan and a board member for the German soccer club ‘FC Astoria Walldorf’. Passionate about young people, I support the organization ‘Anpfiff ins Leben’, where I mentor young athletes. Additionally, being an avid basketball fan, I coach an under-18 boys’ team. I hold a diploma in Marketing, International Management and Physics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mannheim.
