About Peter Heffernan

I'm a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist working in the acute setting. Since qualifying, I have had the opportunity to complete several rotations, including stroke, MSK, respiratory, geriatrics, and ICU. Most recently, I’ve been working as the senior physiotherapist for medical inpatients, a role that has strengthened my leadership, clinical decision-making, and service development skills. I’m committed to continuous professional development and actively maintain and grow my clinical expertise. I also supervise students and junior staff, supporting their growth while fostering a positive, learning-focused environment. Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, I thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
