About Peter Herbert

Hi there, my name's Peter Herbert and I'm a 26yo graduating in the Spring with a B.S. in Comp Sci and a minor in Mathematics. I've enjoyed my time learning and feel I'm ready to add to the workplace with my skills. As someone with a chronic illness, I've faced challenges with the recent way things have been. But learning to navigate the world in this way has made me a better communicator and, in fact, the recent changes and allowance for working from home has made my ability to participate even stronger. In terms of programming skills, I'm well versed in the SOLID principles and Object Oriented Programming. I find myself most comfortable in a software development position, however I have pushed myself to take more analytical positions and have found myself in the place of a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Project Planner for previous school projects. I tend to step up and take control of a project to ensure it runs well, however I can just as easily follow instructions and have good documentation practices in my code as well as around my code.
