About Peter Herrington

I commission into the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant in may of 2023, doing work as an Air Battle Manager. My time in ROTC the last several years has given me the opportunity to develop many skills that will be vital to my success in the Air Force, such as large group leadership, carrying out the feedback process, effective time and resource management, subordinate development, mission focus and critical thinking. While I am finishing my Criminal Justice degree at the University of Arizona, I work as head of security at a local business, where I am able to implement some of the skills that I have learned over the past 3 years. Law enforcement has always been an interest and prospected transition point after the Air Force, where I would still be able to make an impact on the country and the diverse communities that comprise it, which is very important to me. I hope to continue to improve myself and develop both soft and hard skills through continuous learning regardless of what career path I end up in.
