About Peter Hottenstein

I have over 30 years experience leading software application and information technology development and delivery projects. As a Software Engineer and US Air Force retiree I bring a wealth of experiences over broad operations, management and technical domains. Over the last 20 years I have played key technical roles in computer and networked systems development and implementation, IT solutions development, real-time computer simulation development, systems engineering, requirements analysis and management, project, program, and portfolio management, business development, proposal management, contract review, and personnel management. I believe in life-long learning and continue to pursue understanding of new technical and management techniques. I am proud to have serve the Alamo PMI Chapter. As past president I help set the direction of the chapter, identified opportunities for the chapter to grow and provide learning opportunities in Project Management for the San Antonio members of the Project Management Institute. My goals are to continue to ensure the San Antonio business community understands the benefits of project management and has the best opportunities to grow their Project Management capabilities to support economic success. I continue to support the Alamo PMI Chapter to bring project management and critical thinking skills to everyone, through education and outreach, in businesses, nonprofits, and schools throughout San Antonio.
