As an applied behavioural scientist I conduct research and help clients to design strategies, communications, products, and customer journeys based on how people really think and behave. After completing a PhD in the psychology of appetite I have focussed on applying behavioural science to the Life and Health, and P&C (re)insurance industries. My research interests are- Financial decision making - Health behaviour - Appetite, obesity and GLP-1 medications - Improving customer understanding of financial products - Honesty - Tech adoption I believe in combining behavioural theory, data science, design and a range of research methods to truly understand customers and make products, communications and services that work better for them. My work is published widely in academic journals, insurance industry press and behavioural science publications such as the Behavioural Economics Guide (2020) and Behavioural Scientist. I am a member of the Global Association of Applied Behavioral Scientists (GAABS).
