Peter Ige is a graduate of Computer Science and Certified Software Developer with over 20 years experience across Information Technology and Financial industries. He served in various capacities including Software Development, Database Administration, Information System controls and security implementation. He later furthers his career in Information System Audit, Governance, Risk & Compliance. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) as well as Lead Auditors in four ISO Management Systems (MS) Standards across Information Security, Business Continuity, IT Service Management and Occupational Health & Safety. He is also a certified COBIT Assessor as well as TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect and Lead Implementer in Quality Management System (ISO 9001). He is a CAATs expert as well with over 15 years experience using Audit Command Language (ACL) for Revenue/Expense Assurance and continuous control reviews for transaction anomalies and fraud detections. Coupled with his experiences in Core IT roles across industries, he also worked as System Assurance Officers (Control & Audit) in 3 Nigeria Commercial banks with extensive use of ACL for Data Analysis and was very resourceful in the writing of ACL scripts to automate review of income and expense lines for the banks. He also has wide range of trainings in information security, audit and control within Nigeria and across several countries. He equally has information security project implementation experiences, which include ISO 27001, PCIDSS, Database Security, Business Continuity Management, Mobile Money, Cybersecurity solutions e.tc. Peter is a frequent speaker on IT Security related issues and as such, an authority in information security matters.
