About Peter J. Bordonaro

I’m an accomplished professional with extensive experience across finance and accounting operations in the software industry. After obtaining a degree in Accounting, I joined CA Technologies as a Contract Analyst, and worked my way up through a variety of roles over the next two decades, including Business Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Director of Sales Accounting, and Senior Director of Revenue and Revenue Management. I learned the ins and outs of financial processes, systems, and control environments, including ASC606 Software Revenue Recognition, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Services and Order to Cash processes. I’m especially proud of the crucial role I’ve played in ensuring a smooth transition during more than one acquisition. When CA Technologies was purchased by Broadcom Inc. in 2018, I used my current role of Corporate Finance Analyst to integrate all financial systems and review all relevant policies and workflows, guaranteeing uninterrupted excellent service for all customers. I continue to assist the revenue accounting team on a monthly and quarterly basis and serve as a technical expert for Sales Accounting matters. I bring with me not only deep-seated financial expertise, but also the ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate across persons and departments. I play a key role in the auditing process by liaising with external auditors, and work with FP & A on forecasting. My strong communication skills and affinity for pulling together all the necessary knowledge and players make me a valuable leader and project manager who can be counted upon to enact significant optimization.
